For an inspiring educational experience, and all the information you need for your wilderness adventure, a visit to the Visitors Centre is a must. Run by Tasmania’s Parks and Wildlife Service the Visitors Centre provides a wealth of information on everything from daily weather forecasts to bushwalking etiquette.
If you’re interested in knowing more about the local history, plant life and animal life you will find static and interactive displays, brochures, books, maps and friendly Park Rangers to answer your questions. Park Rangers also run animal discovery tours at various times of the year.
