Enjoy a breath-taking winter break at Lake St Clair Lodge in one of our cozy cottages or studios. We are open all year round but you can expect an especially warm welcome during our winter months. If picturesque seclusion and stunning alpine beauty are your thing then we have just the deals for you. Winter days here are generally bright, clear and crisp and in the highlands the snow-capped mountains sparkle in the sunlight.
Discover the wonder of a morning walk through a fresh fall of unspoilt snow with spectacular views at every turn. Winter days are great for walking and you can spend your evenings by a log fire after a delicious meal of Tasmanian produce. Our numerous short day walks take on an entirely different character after a fresh fall of snow and our ferry the Ida Clair runs daily (subject to demand and prevailing conditions) through the winter offering spectacular round-trip cruises as well as providing access to more remote walks from Echo Point or into Pine Valley.
